Easter 2007

Holidays manage to get funner and funner with the increase of both age and amount of our kids. Colby went on four Easter Egg Hunts, showing no signs of fatigue by hunt #4. His eggs were filled with everything from candy and plastic toys, to money. I think Colby was most excited to get eggs filled with silver coins that he got to put into his new piggy bank from grandma and grandpa Jackson.

Saturday we went to the Richins' where we rode horses, hunted for more eggs and ate hot dogs. Colby loves to ride Dixie and is becoming very good at commanding the horse. He knows to say "giddy-up" to make it go and "Whoa" to make it stop. He's braver than his mom, even though she made a breakthrough by riding Shadow 2 different times that day and even attempting to ride a little faster than just a walk.

For journaling reasons, I wanted to add Colby's latest phrase that's worth recording. He is very into asking everybody, "What are YOU doing?" He asks this sometimes every 5 minutes. Then when asked what he's doing, he replies, "Just hangin out."
