Play Group

This is Colby's first play group that was set up about 6 months ago. One of the cute girls is moving this weekend which gave us a good reason to snap a few pictures. These four kids are so dang cute when they get together and look forward to playing at each other's houses every Thursday.

Colby went from his typical shy and reserved self for about the first month, to asking on a regular basis about his "friends" and even including them in his prayers!

It has turned out to be a huge success for all, especially us moms. Each child can now leave their mom without any tears, we've all seen our children grow socially and when it wasn't our turn to host, we got 2 full hours to run errands or do whatever became easier to accomplish without a toddler.

Colby's going to miss his friend that is moving on to new adventures and hopefully she'll miss him, even if he was responsible for a huge goose-egg on her forehead - good thing toddlers are so good at forgiving and forgetting!
