Oh Baby!

2 weeks to go (or less I hope!) Right about now I'm feeling...

1. Anxious to find out when this little one will decide to exit my womb
2. Excited to finally find out which gender will be outnumbered
3. A little hyperventilatory* -sleepless nights, nursing, donut pillows
4. A little sad that my 2 little sweeties have no idea how much this will rock their world
5. Ecstatic to hold my tiny newborn who, just minutes before, was in an entirely different place, most likely hanging out with my grandmas and grandpas

*For some reason, blogger didn't recognize this as a word. I beg to differ about whether this is infact a word, and if not, a dang good word creation by me which the spellchecker should recognize and add to it's database.

Milestone

A picture of me and the little squirt at 30.5 weeks. I'm almost on the single digit week countdown! (I know, it's a fantastic picture complete with a dingy yellow background and nice complimenting shadows. I told you I don't have a nice camera. It's not my fault)

For purely my own benefit, I thought it necessary to document that I kept my hair out of a pony tail for one week straight. For those that know me well, this is quite an accomplishment for me, especially in the last year or so. Just give me a few weeks and I'll probably even break out the eye liner. I always get this way towards the end of my pregnancy. You know, taking drastic measure to boost your self-esteem by getting things waxed and wearing glitter and such.

Also- I am really starting to feel the "I need to take my 2 kids out before 2 kids become 3 and we're all banned to the house until they turn 18 because it's gotta be literally impossible to take 3 children anywhere" crunch and I'm wondering if anybody has any tips on free or nearly free places I can take my kids before this takes place. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Lovely Lady Lump

18 WEEKS and counting! This is my first official blog announcement that we are expecting and due in April. I'm not even half way and I'm fully into maternity clothes. However, I am past the icky sick stage, I'm feeling the baby pretty regularly, and I'm even starting to get my energy back. I love this stage of pregnancy! And food. Ohhhhh baby. Welcome back my long lost, even hated and dreaded for 3 months, delicacy in life. Bring on the Thanksgiving Feast. I can tell this little one loves to eat too.

And here is a picture of Kara's baby in her tummy. She tells me several times a day that her baby is crying or to be quiet because her baby is sleeping. The other day, she even pretended to grab the baby from her tummy and give it to me. I know she's two and all, but can you blame her? Her belly looks as if something's living inside of it...

Because we're, well...awesome, we're not finding out the gender on this one either. Seriously, before you think we're crazy and try to talk us out of it, let's have a chat about all the benefits of waiting to find out the sex of your baby until you lay eyes on him/her for the first time. Labor and delivery, calling everyone, etc. It's sooooo much more exciting. Plan, schmlan. Planning is for boring people. Okay, I'm going to stop before I offend someone. And, I probably won't get induced this time either, even if it means Cameron might be in the air, on his way to Canada while I am frantically trying to call SkyWest Headquarters to let him know in the cockpit that his wife is in labor. I get gitty just thinking about all that excitement and adventure.
